Roaming cattle have been spotted at the entrance to Ladysmith in Short Street, near the Indoor Sports Complex.
It was clear that the animals were tagged, but no one appeared to be herding them.
One could see a small herd of cattle grazing on the grass next to the road.

“You can see the cows are tagged, which means either the owner knows they are here or they got out of the owner’s premises. This is also a main road, so what happens if an accident is caused by these cattle?” a motorist stated after seeing the livestock.
This is not an isolated incident, as there are many areas in town where residents encounter cattle roaming around and causing havoc.
