Estcourt learners achieve top positions at development language festival

The four 'language masters', as they were affectionately called, will be competing at district level in the near future

With their mentor Mr VP Manyoni, Ngibongeleni High School learners did it again in this year’s Youth Development Language Festival held at the Forderville Hall on May 24.

They participated and succeeded in the following categories: Simphiwe Mntungwa got second place in Traditional Poetry, Seluleko Ndaba achieved first place in the Impromptu Speech (unprepared speech), Amanda Dlamini came second in Individual Poetry and Snenhlanhla Mazibuko led in the Debate category.

The four ‘language masters’, as they were affectionately called, will be competing at district level in the near future and promise to keep the school on map again.
