Newcastle Masonic Lodge to donate R10K to Esperanza Special Needs School
Guests in attendance gladly opened their hearts, as well as their wallets, and as Secretary, Dave Couper announced that the evening was a huge success with the function raising R10 000.

The Freemasons of the Newcastle Masonic Lodge recently held a medieval banquet as a means of raising funds for charity.
The aim of the evening was to raise enough funds to assist Esperanza Special Needs School with the upgrading and replacing of their outdoor playground equipment, which was damaged and in need of repair.

The Freemasons and their family members dressed in medieval attire and enjoyed the scrumptious dinner in the pretend fantasy world of knights, ladies and common folk.

“The much needed funds will be handed over to the school’s principal, next weekend, Saturday, June 16,” he said.
