Vryheid High boasts its sporting achievements

All our teams won and so the season ended on a high note.

On May 29, we had our last winter fixture against Amajuba. All our teams won and so the season ended on a high note. A big thank you to all the coaches for the hours of practice, the players for the willingness to learn, and the parents for transporting children to and from games. Enjoy this period of rest until the next season.

Hierdie week het ons die uitslae gekry van die seuns wat verkies is tot die Noord Natal rugby spanne. Ons is baie trots op hierdie seuns en hoop dat hulle hierdie geleentheid ten volle sal geniet. Onder 16 span: Qhawe Nxumalo, Sandile Zwane, Amahle Dlamini, Siya Sibiya, Khaya Khuzwayo, M Mathe, Ketho Mpontshawe, Yenzeka Mkwanazi and Mnelisi Sibisi. Onder 18 span: Kelson Lemmon-Warde en Andi Niebuhr. Onder 19 span: Jarred Vorster, Lwazi Mdlalose en Lethu Mthethwa.

Catia Marques participated in the South African Dancing Institute Competition where she received a gold for her performance on May 25. She will also represent SADI in New Zealand Global tour in 2019. This is really a spectacular achievement.

We are currently busy with the midyear examinations. We encourage parents to support their children and motivate them to study hard for the exams.
