Update: Half of Main Road in Ladysmith has been tarred

Half the road has been done and by the looks of it, it won't be long before the rest of the road surface is also fixed

Motorists can start to breathe a sigh of relief, as half of Main Road in the industrial area has been tarred.

The repairs have come after about two years, during which time the road was dug up and left by the municipality.

Business owners are pleased that finally, after months of waiting, some good work is being done.

One motorist even went so far as to thank the municipality for fixing the road, and wishes that all damaged roads in Ladysmith could be fixed up so that motorists have peace of mind.
