Estcourtonians conquering the 2018 Comrades Marathon

Forderville Athletic Club's Nishal Mahadow said that the Comrades Marathon was tough but the pleasant weather made running conditions a little more comfortable

Thousands of athletes took to the streets on Sunday to be part of the Ultimate Human Race, also known as the Comrades Marathon.

This year’s marathon was the longest recorded, with just over 90kms, as it started in Pietermaritzburg at the City Hall and ended at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Estcourtonians were also part of this iconic marathon. Forderville Athletic Club’s Nishal Mahadow said that the Comrades Marathon was tough but the pleasant weather made running conditions a little more comfortable.
