Time stops in Ladysmith

The time on the clock reads 6.35 and it never changes...

The Ladysmith Town Clock is still not ticking.

It has been months since the Town Clock has been operational.

Local residents want this historic landmark to be back up and running again so the town doesn’t get a bad name for itself.

Currently, the time reads 6.35. Whether that’s half past six in the morning or evening, we just don’t know!

“Time is standing still in more ways than one and it’s really not funny. It’s been a long time since I have seen the clock working. I hope the municipality catches a wake-up and sorts this problem out as soon as possible,” said an irate local history lover.

We are awaiting feedback from the local municipality regarding this matter.

Only time will tell (pardon the pun) how long it takes before the clock is ticking smoothly once again.
