A fire broke out in a home in Ben Schoeman Street on Friday night (June 15).
Ladysmith Fire Department officials responded to the scene.
It is believed that an electrical problem caused the fire.
Only the ceiling in one of the rooms was damaged.
It took firefighters a matter of minutes to extinguish the flames.
No one was injured.
