In April, many of those who attended the April Fool’s Fair in Quality Street were disgusted at having to walk through sewage that ran in front of the entrance.

It seems that the sewage has stopped flowing since the fair took place and that tarring work is currently underway in Quality Street.

Those living in the area are delighted by the improvement.

‘”It’s great because now events can be held and it won’t be a massive effort to get to the event because of stinky sewer water in the road,” a community member stated.
