The programme included Rev Andrew Brookes-Neil, Dr Chris Peppler, Trevor Stedman (formerly of Dundee), and the session clerks of both Presbyterian Churches, including a special audio message from Angus Buchan.

A special celebration was held on Saturday at Ingudlane Lodge honouring Brother Daniel’s 60th birthday.
This popular man of the community has been with the ministry for over 40 years and for the past 10 years has been a pastoral assistant at the Trinity and St Margaret’s Presbyterian Church in Dundee and Dannhauser respectively.
Gavin Davies – to give his ‘birth name’- and his wife, Arlene, arrived in Dundee 35 years ago from the Kimberley area. The family have made Dundee their home and have four children, Chantelle, Nathan, Jonathan (Joff) and Danielle and five grandchildren!
Family and friends joined together for a wonderful afternoon of sharing and entertainment and got to enjoy the rugby, Boks vs England on the big screen, afterwards.

John Mulhutton entertained the gathering with music and an awesome recital, and Kirby Niemand (Br Daniel’s niece) sang two items. “As a family we would like to thank all those who joined us for the celebration. A special thank you to Rene Congdon (mistress of ceremonies) and Brydey Weber for the beautiful decor,”‘ said Br Daniel’s wife, Arlene.
