Estcourt blood donors do their part

The team hopes to see more blood donors and new recruits at the next blood donor clinic on July 12

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) hosted their monthly blood donor clinic in Estcourt last Thursday.

Njabulo Sithole had his blood pressure checked ahead of donating.

Locals set off to the town hall to begin the blood donation process, understanding it’s for a worthy cause.

Sibongile Khulle donated her fourth lifesaving pint of blood.

69 people attended the blood clinic, 67 of them donated a lifesaving unit of blood and two people were welcomed as first time donors. The target was set at 57, and that target was exceeded.

The SANBS and Blood Clinic Co-ordinator, Mr SM Dawoonarain passes heartfelt thanks to all the donors who took the time to come and donate a pint of blood.
