BREAKING NEWS: Truck overturns on the Amajuba Pass (N11)
Authorities confirmed the pass would remain closed for most of the afternoon and advised motorists to use alternative routes.
This morning (July 5), shortly after 11am, a truck transporting coal, overturned on the N11, Amajuba Pass, leaving the road completely blocked from traffic.

According to Jan Henk van Vuuren, spokesperson for WATCO Emergency Services, the driver sustained minor injuries, and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The relevant emergency personnel are currently at the scene conducting preliminary investigations, to determine what exactly caused the truck to overturn.
