Motorists reminded that another petrol hike is on the cards for August

Current data suggests a price rise of 19 cents a litre for petrol, 13 cents for diesel, and 22 cents for illuminating paraffin

Motorists may be faced with another petrol price hike for a fifth consecutive month in August.

This is what has been stated by the Automobile Association (AA), commenting on unaudited mid-month fuel price data released by the Central Energy Fund.

This comes after the Department of Energy announced a hike in petrol in July of between 23 cents and 26 cents.
