Police have confirmed that no foul play is suspected after a man was found dead in an old car in Connor Street this morning.

Visible Policing officers were called to the scene this morning where they found the deceased man in the vehicle.

An inquest has been registered and is being investigated by Estcourt Detectives.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan said that the deceased has not yet been identified.

Bystanders claimed that the man had died after he placed a fire inside the vehicle, in an effort to keep himself warm.
