Celebrate National Women’s Day and embrace your natural beauty

In today’s world, we as women are on the frontline of change and progress, and we carry the future of our young girls (and boys), and how they will fit into society, in the palm of our hands.

Every day, we work towards bettering ourselves and being the best mother, daughter, friend and woman we can be, with the added pressure of always looking our best.

August is Women’s Month and we get the chance to celebrate ourselves and each other as women who are thriving in society: we are business women, sport stars and even engineers, but we still struggle to find a balance between changing the world and looking good while doing it.

We at the Newcastle Advertiser would like to change that, because we know that beauty comes from within. Coco Chanel once said that beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself, and this Women’s Day (August 9) we are going to celebrate being beautiful with all the women of Newcastle.
