Simply go to the FSCA website: www.fsca.co.za

Scroll to the bottom of the home page and look for the ‘Regulated Entities’ drop arrow. Hover the cursor over ‘Regulated Entities’ until you see an option for ‘List of Regulated Entities & Persons’. Under this option, click on ‘Retirement Fund’.

This will redirect you to the Disclaimer page. Click on ‘Accept and Continue’.

Once on the Retirement Fund page, scroll to the bottom, till you see a maroon tab that says ‘Unclaimed Retirement Benefits Search’. Click on this option to get to a search page and fill in the required fields.

Once you have done this, a list of retirement funds that match the search criteria will be generated. Select any funds that you think may be a match and the FSB will send an email to the fund administrator to give you feedback as to whether there are any unclaimed benefits in you name.
