PREVIEW: Magdel walks the extra mile for charity
For the sake of charity and the benefit of the children, Magdel endured stiff ligaments and aching feet as a team member in the relay event at this year's Vlam Panelbeaters Blood Buddy Memel to Newcastle Walk.

Every now and again, someone special comes along and makes a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
To the children at the Morester Child and Youth Care Centre, Magdel Pretorius was that special person; their angel in disguise.

For the sake of charity and the benefit of the children, Magdel endured stiff ligaments and aching feet as a team member in the relay event at this year’s Vlam Panelbeaters Blood Buddy Memel to Newcastle Walk.
“After reading a post on social media about the home’s financial needs, I decided to do something to help them. What better way than to do the Memel Walk as a means of raising funds?” said Magdel.
