A crafty idea to empower Thekwane’s youth
Mr Mkwhanazi is working towards establishing a youth centre where he can train the youth to empower themselves through arts and crafts.
NEHEMIA Mkhwanazi has a passion for arts and crafts… he also has a passion for empowering the younger generation.
Mr Mkwhanazi is working towards finding a way to combine these passions for the greater good and establishing a youth centre in the Thekwane area where he can train the youth to empower themselves through arts and crafts.
However, in order to do so, Mkhwanazi realised he would need assistance and sought out and joined forces with community leader, Ronnie Mkhonza to find a way to set this plan in motion.

“Our aim is to create job opportunities for the youth,” says Mkhonza, ” by developing skills and teaching them to be independent. We don’t want the youth involved in drugs and alcohol…”
