Estcourt’s very own Jessica Sewraj was selected as a finalist in the Mrs India South Africa Pageant, out of a total of more 800 entrants across South Africa.

The grand finale, held on August 25 at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban, was a truly extravagant event.

Although not being in the top three, the experience has not dampened the spirits of the Estcourt wife and mother.
In the past few months, she has been involved in various organisations, fund raising events and hopes to continue her contributions to the community.

During her reign as a finalist, Mrs Sewraj has had the opportunity of meeting some of South Africa’s finest celebrities, including Sketchie Bongo, Kyle Deutsch as well as the famous Aunty Sheila, Theshen Niacker. She would like to thank her family, sponsors and all the individuals and organisations for their support on her journey to women empowerment.

“I would also especially like to thank the entire community of Estcourt for their undying support throughout this period. Without your support, my journey would have proved fruitless.”

The event will be broadcast on Glow TV, OVHD in the next few months.
