SPORT: Parkrunners kick off the weekend on a healthy note

According to some of the participants, there is no better way to kick-start the weekend than with a jog, walk or sprint along the parkrun course.

On Saturday morning, a large group of jogging enthusiasts met at the weekly Grey Goose parkrun.

The farm lodge played host to around 200 athletes of varying skill levels.

According to some of the participants, there is no better way to kick-start the weekend than with a jog, walk or sprint along the parkrun course.

To register, visit www.parkrun.co.za and join the fun every Saturday at 8am.

If you are thinking about registering, but are not sure if you’re ready to take on the road yet, pay Grey Goose a visit on Saturday mornings to see how it’s done.

Alternatively, register as a volunteer by emailing greygoosehelpers@parkrun. com.
