GALLERY: Newcastle Women’s Circle host 5km walk for blind school in oSizweni

Chairperson of the organisation, Shaida Seedat encouraged other NPO’s to become involved in charity events such as this to help the needy.

Organisers of the Newcastle Women’s Circle, a non-profit organisation (NPO) and residents joined hands to walk for the visually impaired recently.

The funds raised were donated to Ashimathe School for the Blind in oSizweni.

Chairperson of the organisation, Shaida Seedat encouraged other NPO’s to become involved in charity events such as this to help the needy.

“We thank the community for making it possible for us to help those in need,” she said.

The event took place at the Paradise Sports Grounds.
