Locals give back to the community with fundraiser walk

The walk was dedicated to giving to families and young girls who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Social Market Newcastle celebrated its second birthday this weekend by hosting a hike dubbed Newcastle Morning Hike Meet-up at Vulintaba Country Estate.

It was dedicated to giving to families and young girls who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

“Supported by local companies and foundations in Newcastle, the event was a success. Three families and 40 young girls benefited from the hike in terms of groceries and sanitary towels,” said organisers.
