People now have to walk as far as Ezakheni from St Chad's in order to get water

St Chad’s residents took to the streets from early this morning (January 17) to demand water for their area.

The road leading from Helpmekaar Road towards St Chad’s Clinic has been completely blocked off. Protesters have blocked the roadway with rocks and broken bottles.

The road has not been cleared at this stage, making it very difficult for motorists to pass through.
