Residents have to deal with blocked drains, water leaks
Blocked storm-water drains don’t allow water to flow through from a burst water pipe in the street
Senior citizen David Knox (76) is fed up with the constant stench of raw sewage outside his home in Residency Road. The problem has sprung up due to blocked sewer drains in the street.
Another major problem the residents are facing is blocked storm-water drains that don’t allow water to flow through from a burst water pipe in the street.
David says, “The burst water pipe has been left unattended for over a year and a mini-dam has been created, with water flooding the street due to the blocked storm-water drains.”

This impacts negatively on many residents, as it is right on their doorsteps and affects their everyday life.
David hopes the situation can be resolved soon.
