Primary school closed due to protest action by parents

Veyisi Primary School in Matiwaneskop has been closed to learners for a week already.

Parents of learners who attend the school claim that the employment process isn’t fair on certain teachers.

For this reason, parents have gathered each day outside the school and closed it down.

They demand to see the circuit education inspector to address their issues.

The parents have also stopped their children from going to school until the problems are solved.
