Raw sewage runs like a river in Fairclough Road

The problem has been reported by many residents, yet nothing has been done to fix the problem

A major blocked sewer mainline in Fairclough Road is causing raw effluent to shoot out like a fountain.

The problem has been reported by many residents, yet nothing has been done to sort out the situation.

Sewage is flowing like a river towards the back of the Transnet yard, making it unbearable for people to even be in the area.

Councillor Abbas Warasally is appalled and says that, “Many uThukela vehicles drive past this sight every day and the problem can’t be fixed by them?”

Cllr Warasally will be taking the matter further to have the problem fixed.
