Eskom has implemented Stage 3 load-shedding for today (February 12).

Load-shedding Stage 3 (9am to 11pm) and load curtailment Stage 3 (10am to 11pm) will be implemented to stabilise the system.

Stage 3 and 4 are unavoidable and load-shedding will be as per the schedule.

The areas affected will be: Group 3 from 9am to 12pm and again from 6pm to 9pm; Group 1 from 12pm to 3pm and again from 9pm to 11pm; and Group 2 from 3pm to 6pm.
