2 injured as taxi crashes in Roosboom

Police, RTI, emergency personnel and a towing service responded

A taxi overturned on the Skietsdrift road in Roosboom on Monday afternoon (February 11).

The exact cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.

It is believed that the driver had just picked up a passenger and then crashed about 200 metres further along.

The driver and the passenger were treated on scene for minor injuries before being taken to hospital.

Police, RTI, emergency personnel and a towing service responded to the scene.

The taxi had to be towed away.
