BREAKING: Protesters block Louwsburg road
It is believed that these community members, who have barricaded roads with rocks and trees, are demanding electricity from the municipality.
Motorists who need to use the road between Vryheid and Louwsburg have been cautioned to seek out alternative routes to get to their destinations, as there is currently some serious protest action near Louwsburg.
The Louwsburg SAPS have confirmed that some of their members are currently on scene doing what they can to control the crowd of protestors.

It is believed that these community members, who have barricaded roads with rocks and trees, are demanding electricity from the municipality.
Louwsburg police station officials said that the Ulundi Public Order Policing (POP) unit has been notified and would be heading out there shortly.

In the meantime, motorists are warned to avoid this road until further notice.
