With the generous help of some amazing ladies, from Johannesburg and Ballito, the club was able to present beautifully knitted or crocheted blankets, together with a fun teddy, to one of the local ambulance services to distribute to children who have been involved in either an accident or who have gone through a traumatic ordeal.

Dawn Whieldon, Margaret Marrian and Ivana Spada knitted or crocheted the squares, which were then stitched together to make colourful and cheerful blankets that will bring warmth to any child.
