Jonathan is living his broadcasting dream

With his star slowly rising, Jonathan Griffiths is excited about the future

Passionate about the media industry from an early age, Jonathan  Griffiths is now living his dream.

Jonathan, a former Dundee High pupil is currently employed at Newcastle online radio station, Radio 034.  Jonathan hosts the Afternoon Drive Show and has already scored  interviews with the MEC of Health in KwaZulu-Natal, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo and Amajuba District Mayor, Dr Musa Ngubane to add to his broadcasting repertoire.

“Being in a small town and wanting to be in the media industry requires effort and working your way up through the right channels. But it is possible, so young people who have a goal of being in media shouldn’t give up,” said Jonathan. Jonathan has always been passionate about reporting and broadcasting and was a valuable member of the Dundee High News Team.

He also did some broadcasts for the Northern Natal Courier.

“A massive shout out goes to my home town and Radio 034. We are looking forward to broadcasting from an event there.”

As a result of his new found fame, Jonathan has also been invited to join a local clothing brand in  Newcastle, #JustHustlewear, which provides a range of clothing to celebrities, such as hip hop artist, Gigi Lamayne. With his star slowly rising, Jonathan Griffiths is excited about the future. “Radio is only the beginning of my broadcasting journey,” he concluded.
