Estcourt donors bleed for a good cause

You don’t have to wear a cape to be a super hero

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) assisted blood donors to give a pint of lifesaving blood last Thursday at the Estcourt Town Hall.

Ganes Bihaspat supported last week’s blood clinic with his grandson, Cayden Jungbadur.

This monthly blood donor clinic attracted 55 locals who rolled up their sleeves in aid of saving up to three lives.

Slindile Ndlovu had her iron levels checked.

The nursing team welcomed two new blood donors while they also collected 52 pints of blood between 11am and 6pm.

Nishal Mahadow is seen completing a compulsory lifestyle questionnaire.

The staff of SANBS and the Blood Clinic Co-ordinator, Mr SM Dawoonarain are extremely grateful for all those who made the time to support this worthy cause.
