SAPS recognises a diligent peer educator
As a go-getter, Ms Ntshingila is determined to make a difference in the lives of those she works with and meets

Uthukela Cluster peer educator Senior Admin Clerk AC PGM Ntshingila is the Uthukela Cluster SAPS voluntary peer educator.

She has 27 years of service in the South African Police Service (SAPS) and began her career in the Local Criminal Record Centre.
She worked her way up in the ranks. Besides her normal duties she attends provincial peer educators meetings and conferences. She returns and in turn disseminates the information to station peer educators. She takes every opportunity to sensitize members on HIV and sexually transmitted diseases.
She sets up displays at the local station where officers as well as members of the public can help themselves to awareness material and condoms.
Ms Ntshingila is a real go-getter and she is part of the Uthukela Cluster SAPS Women’s Network. She has a passion for organising functions and projects in the cluster. She loves sport and has participated in various codes representing the SAPS.
