This has displeased a passer-by who has scorned on the ‘side businesses’ operating in this area. More recently, a rudimentary car wash is taking over the entrance of the cemetery on the Alexandra Street side.

A resident noted that litter is discarded after vehicles are washed and said that the entrance to a graveyard is no place for an informal business like this.

“Apart from the dirt, the cemetery should be treated with respect, this is a place where loved ones are buried,” said the resident.
