Inkosi Mnkwanyana honoured during Men’s Month celebration
The men of the municipality were recognised for their dedication and commitment throughout their journey of service.
Inkosi Mnkwanyana was among the men who were honoured last week during the Men’s Month celebration hosted by Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality at the Estcourt Town Hall.
The event brought together male employees, councillors and community leaders to recognise their dedication, service and contribution to the municipality and the communities they serve.
Mayor reflects on a journey of service
In a Facebook post following the celebration, Mayor Mduduzi Myeza described the occasion as a day of ‘reflection, appreciation, brotherhood and celebration’.
The mayor said the municipality’s men were being recognised for their dedication and commitment throughout their journey of service.
He noted that the celebration carried added significance as the current administration approaches the end of its term of office.
“As this term of office draws closer to its final chapter, the occasion carried an even more special meaning, celebrating not only the men among us but also the collective journey, memories and service that have shaped this chapter,” Myeza said.

Inkosi Mnkwanyana was honoured for his continued commitment to serving and leading the community.
His recognition highlighted his contribution as a traditional leader and his ongoing efforts to support and contribute to the well-being of the communities under his leadership.
