#CaxtonCares receives donation from dance academy
Marina de Beer, owner of the academy, saw the Courier's calls for support and immediately rallied her dancers together to help.
Stepping Out Dance Academy has stepped up to the plate, making a huge donation towards the Courier’s #CaxtonCares project.
The #CaxtonCares project was launched to celebrate Child Protection Week, and will help make a difference at the Dundee Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit. Marina de Beer, owner of Stepping Out Dance Academy, saw the Courier’s calls for support and immediately rallied her dancers together to help.
“I am a mother of three myself, and believe that one should never raise a hand to children. They should always feel safe, loved and protected in their environment.”
Dancer and parents were asked to contribute items towards the cause, which they did. These were then donated towards the project. If you wish to support the #CaxtonCares project, drop off items at the Northern Natal Courier office.
