Help celebrate World Blood Donor Day at the Estcourt Town Hall today

Every person that donates blood today will receive a gift as a token of appreciation for supporting World Blood Donor Day, which is commemorated on June 14

You can help make sure the blood supply does not reach demandingly low levels by donating a life-saving pint of blood.

Donating a pint of blood today is somewhat extra-special because World Blood Donor Day will be celebrated tomorrow (June 14).

To show appreciation to new and regular blood donors, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) will be giving every person that donates blood a gift.

The time is now – pop in at the Estcourt Town Hall from 11am to 6pm on June 13.

“During this time of the year, the nursing team have to go above and beyond to ensure a stable bloodstock supply, as winter means donors get the ‘flu and learners are on school holidays,” explained Blood Clinic Co-ordinator, Mr SM Dawoonarain.
