Winter Warm Drive brings hope to Dannhauser families

The Al-Imdaad Foundation brought warmth and hope to 50 vulnerable Dannhauser residents through its Winter Warm Drive.

The Dannhauser Women’s Forum has thanked the Al-Imdaad Foundation for helping keep vulnerable residents warm this winter through its annual Winter Warm Drive.

A total of 50 beneficiaries received blankets during the initiative, which aims to provide comfort and dignity to residents facing the harsh winter conditions.

Community spirit shines through

Speaking on behalf of the Dannhauser Women’s Forum, Farzanah Dookie expressed her appreciation to Al-Imdaad Foundation chairperson Abed Karim and his team for their continued support.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Al-Imdaad Foundation and its chairperson, Brother Abed Karim, for once again standing with our community. Their unwavering support for our annual Winter Warm Drive has brought comfort and dignity to some of the most vulnerable members of our town,” said Dookie.

She said the donation represented far more than simply providing warmth.

“To the 50 beneficiaries who received blankets, we hope this reminds you that you are seen, valued and not alone. In the midst of winter, these blankets represent care, compassion and hope.”

Dookie also thanked Karim for travelling to Dannhauser to support the initiative in person.

“We sincerely appreciate the compassion, consistency and partnership shown by Brother Abed Karim and the entire Al-Imdaad Foundation team. We look forward to continuing our work together to uplift the people of Dannhauser,” she said.
