Uelzen Primary School’s Okuhle Botha and Gabby Beukes have been selected for the KZN Inland u-13B and C hockey sides respectively. The school wishes them well for their tournaments, which take place over the winter holidays.
Earlier this month, Uelzen joined 10 other schools at Arbor Park Primary School’s annual Winter Games. The u-7 hockey girls finished first, the u-8 girls finished second and the junior chess team also finished second. Nikhil Narain (Grade 7) won the trophy for best senior chess player.
