Public Safety officer crashes while in hot pursuit of another vehicle
The officer lost control of his vehicle, which veered off the road
A Public Safety officer crashed his car this afternoon (July 8) while in pursuit of another vehicle. The incident took place on the Hobsland road, which is a gravel road that is infamous for numerous motor vehicle accidents.
The officer lost control of his vehicle, which veered off the road, overturned and landed on its side.

The officer sustained slight injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Emergency personnel, Public Safety and a towing service responded.
The officer’s vehicle had to be towed away from the scene.
