Enyanyeni Combined School put their best feet forward on Mandela Day

Embracing the spirit of Mandela Day led to a 3-part donation at Enyanyeni Combined School.

Yesterday marked the annual international day, dedicated to honouring the late Nelson Mandela, who fought for social justice for 67 years.

Enyanyeni Combined School received 40 pairs of shoes, donated by the Johannesburg-based company Sasra. The school also received school uniforms from Ismail’s Trading Store, and soup and bread from the Shoprite Soup Kitchen from Newcastle.

The principal, teachers and learners expressed their appreciation for all the donations received by the school, and thanked the donors for honouring Madiba’s legacy.
