SAPS women score at soccer tournament
The KwaZulu-Natal SAPS Ladies Soccer Team came out victorious and received a gold medal and a floating trophy, after beating the National Head Office Ladies Team by one goal to nil.
The 2019 SAPS National Ladies Soccer Tournament took place at Galeshwe Stadium in Kimberley on August 9.
The KwaZulu-Natal SAPS Ladies Soccer Team came out victorious and received a gold medal and a floating trophy, after beating the National Head Office Ladies Team by one goal to nil.
In the winning team were two women from the Amajuba Cluster; Sergeant Thuli Mthembu and Sbo Mazibuko, both from Newcastle SAPS.
“Congratulations ladies, and thank you for putting our beautiful city on the map,” read a media statement from SAPS Newcastle.
