Forderville Primary learners excel at provincial Mental Maths competition in Durban

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education hosted its Provincial Mental Maths competition in Durban last month.

The top two learners from Grade 4, 5 and 6 in each of the 12 districts in the province were selected to compete in this exhilarating competition.

A total of 72 learners competed. Forderville Primary School’s Amman Aheer Srichunder (Grade 5), Yurvil Narain (Grade 4) and Eishen Premsingh (Grade 6) enthusiastically represented the Uthukela District.

Amman and Yurvil were among the top achievers, both scooping second position in their grade. The management, staff and learners of Forderville Primary are extremely proud of these young learners and wish them future success in their scholastic career.
