A multi-cultural day with an abundance of fun activities was held at Drakensview Primary School recently to celebrate Heritage Day.

Learners, teachers and some parents came dressed in outfits depicting their cultures.
The school field was awash with bright colours and the children were able to participate in a variety of activities such as fishing, the ever-popular tombola, hand-painting, face-painting, hair-spraying, picture painting, bead threading and even a jumping castle.
Delicious food from various cultures was on sale.
To end off the fun day, many learners presented cultural dances, songs and poetry on the pop-up stage on the field.
