Blood donors heed the call

These donors saved up to three lives with just one pint of blood

The Estcourt Sai Centre joined the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) in hosing a blood donor clinic on February 2.

Ganes Bihaspat supported the worthy cause with his 24th blood donation.

One by one, blood donors walked into the Forderville Primary School hall to be part of the blood donation process.

Mervin Ramnarain has his blood pressure examined ahead of donating.

At the end of the afternoon, 33 attended, 32 pints of blood were collected and two new blood donors were welcomed.

Leon Ramnarain ‘bled’ his 29th pint and received a gift.

The SANBS and Sai Centre wish to pass their heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the time and came out to help save lives.
