On Monday morning, Kwazulu Private Ambulance responded to a bus collision on the Emondlo road. When paramedics arrived at the scene, it was alleged the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road, coming to a halt in the nearby river.
34 passengers in the bus sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. Emergency services personnel transported the patients to a local hospital for further care. The cause of the collision is subject to an official investigation.
