Grade Sevens settle in at annual St Dominics tea event

Visiting learners were also taken on a tour, where they learned about the 129-year history of the school.

On February 20, St Dominics Newcastle hosted its annual Grade Seven Tea. Staff and learners from several primary schools in Newcastle and surrounding areas were invited to attend.

The event was held in The Douthwaite Centre (the school’s new indoor sports centre).

“The Grade Seven learners from St Dominics Newcastle had the opportunity to tell the audience more about the school, and one learner from each visiting school made a presentation about their own school. The staff and learners then socialised with each other, enjoying a High Tea meal.”

Visiting learners were also taken on a tour, where they learned about the 129-year history of the school and had a chance to sample the facilities St Dominics Newcastle has to offer.

“It was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all staff and learners.”
