Rainy weather puts a damper on Shavathon in Estcourt

Mr Sookraj thanks everyone who supported this fund-raising event

Last weekend’s damp and grey weather put the brakes on the 2020 Shavathon.

Rain on the Friday afternoon meant that the Shavathon at the Pick ‘n Pay Centre was cancelled.

On the Saturday morning, the CANSA Support Group members set up at the Hillside Shopping Centre, hoping that the drier weather would attract supporters.

However, this was not to be and organiser Anil Sookraj described it as “quiet”.

Mr Sookraj thanks everyone who did support this fund-raising event.
