Newcastle SAPS embarks on 12km health walk

Groceries and clothing were donated to the organisation's identified beneficiaries.

More than 70 members of the SAPS Amajuba Cluster participated in a 12 kilometre fun walk recently, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.

At the conclusion of the event, all participants were awarded medals and trophies. The team, together with its partner, Cabangela Phambili Funerals, then proceeded to Nofta (Newcastle Organisation for the Aged) as part of its community outreach project.

Groceries and clothing were donated to the organisation’s identified beneficiaries. The community outreach projects are aimed at promoting community relations and community policing.

SAPS thanks all participants for contributing to the success of the day.
