12 Injured as bakkie goes down a gorge

However, the ambulance reported that on Sunday morning, one of the critically injured patients had to be airlifted to a hospital in Durban.

A bakkie plunged more than six metres down an embankment on Saturday evening. The incident occurred just past the Lüneburg turn-off towards Paulpietersburg, on the R33.
When Kwazulu Private Ambulance arrived at the scene, paramedics found 12 patients with injuries ranging from minor to severe. They were all stabilised before being transported to healthcare facilities in the area. However, the ambulance reported that on Sunday morning, one of the critically injured patients had to be airlifted to a hospital in Durban.
